Problem connecting to server via RDP when using the TS web interface.<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Login OK to the TS Web Interface.<\/li>\n
  2. Click \u201cConnect\u201d to server<\/li>\n
  3. RDP Loads\u2026<\/li>\n
  4. Error displays: \u201cAn error occurred while sending data to the Remote Desktop Gateway server. The server is temporarily unavailable or a network connection is down. Try again later, or contact your network administrator for assistance.\u201d<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Note:<\/strong> This problem is related to newer features in RDP v7 which are not installed by default on Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3), Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1), and Windows Vista Service Pack 2 (SP2)<\/p>\n

    Fix: <\/strong><\/p>\n

    Turn on CredSSP<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Control\\Lsa
    \nRight-click -> Security Packages -> Modify -> type \u201ctspkg\u201d. (Leave other info) -> click OK.<\/code><\/p>\n

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Control\\SecurityProviders<\/span><\/p>\n

    Right-click -> SecurityProviders -> Modify -> type \u201ccredssp.dll\u201d (Leave other info)\u00a0-> click OK.<\/code><\/p>\n
