{"id":3192,"date":"2016-10-25T15:19:42","date_gmt":"2016-10-25T14:19:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.edwardsd.co.uk\/work\/?p=3192"},"modified":"2016-11-23T18:39:06","modified_gmt":"2016-11-23T18:39:06","slug":"delete-offline-file-cache-csc-folder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.edwardsd.co.uk\/work\/2016\/10\/delete-offline-file-cache-csc-folder\/","title":{"rendered":"Windows 7 | Delete Offline File Cache CSC Folder"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After carrying out a domain migration on a PC the &#8220;offline files cache&#8221; still retains a local cache for the previous domain.<\/p>\n<p>Within &#8220;Offline Files&#8221; (Control Panel) there is an option to &#8220;Delete temporary files&#8221; but this does not remove the &#8220;All offline files&#8221; cache located in the &#8220;C:\\Windows\\CSC&#8221; folder<\/p>\n<p>The workaround to fully remove these files (and start a new offline sync) is to add the &#8220;FormatDatabase&#8221; registry entry which\u00a0forces deletion.<\/p>\n<p>This command will add the registry entry.
